Another template that I created today. I could spend days doing these things LOL but I really have to get to work on finishing my fall/thanksgiving scrapkit and I am trying my hand at doodles and clip art. I was actually very good at drawing when I was in public school, won lots of prizes on my entries at the annual fall fair. I just never kept it up after I went onto high school, somehow boys got in the way LOL. So stay tuned for some of my creations in the next week or two. In the meantime you can download template 03 HERE. It is in PSP and PSD format.

Here is my preview of my finished scrapkit from our monthly challenge at Scrapkit Challenge. The theme was 100% boy and I loved the color palette that was chosen. As usual I made the kit for taggers but some of the girls wanted my kit in scrap size, so over the weekend I worked on increasing the size of the items. There was only one blue bow that did not turn out right,so it is not included in the larger size kit.
The frog, dog and belt were my results from tutorials and the boy and keychain were my own creation.
Included in this kit are:
Large and small bottle cap alpha's 2 blank denim bottle caps 2 bottle caps with sayings 2 bows 1 belt 4 buttons 1 boy doll 1 puppy 1 denim frame 1 tin look frame 3 photo slide mounts 1 frog 1 keychain 9 papers 1 denim pocket 1 denim pocket with frog 2 ribbons with bow 8 ric rac 2 wordart
All items are in png or jpeg format.

You can download the taggers size kit HERE
and the scrapper size kit HERE
I hope that you enjoy this scrapkit!

It's been awhile since I have posted anything about Karly our Shiloh Shepherd. She is now 20 months old (above picture) and a real beauty! These dogs are highly intelligent and very easy to train, we scored a 194/200 on her first obedience training. Needless to say I was very pleased. We are anxiously awaiting on a breeding of her mom, Gracie. Karly needs a playmate and like everyone says, "there is only one thing better than a Shiloh Shepherd and that is two Shiloh Shepherds!"

Gracie and Avalon (Karly's sister) have recently been entering dog shows under the rare breed category and are coming out winners! Here is a pic of Avalon with her ribbon

and this a picture of Gracie and Avalon together.

We were very fortunate in finding Karly's breeders here in our home town of Woodstock. Karly gets to see her mom and sister and they make quite an impressive sight when they are running together. Karly's breeders are KOONAB SHILOHS
Just click on the name and visit their website!

Please download the template HERE

This is the tag that I created from this template.

I wrote this tutorial Sept/08 any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
I'm using the artwork of Laura Nicolodi and you can get her work here
The mask I used is from zuzzanna, mask 15. You can find zuzzanna's mask Here
My freebie scrapkit Happy Hauntings which you can download here on my blog.
This tutorial requires a working knowledge of PSP.
Let's get started.
Open a new image 700 X 500 raster image.Flood fill white.
Choose a paper from the kit, shift d to duplicate and close off the original. Resize your copy by 140%, copy and then paste as a new layer on your working image.
Have your mask of choice open and minimized in PSP. Go to layers, new mask layer, from image. Find your mask in the drop down menu, check source luminance and invert mask data checked, click ok. On the layer pallete delete the mask layer and then merge group.
Copy and paste the haunted house onto your working image, resize as needed.
Add any other elements from the kit that you wish. I added a cat, raven and pumpkins. Resize all as needed. Add your tube. For all these images I used a drop shadow of 0,0,50,7 and black.
Add your word art and copyright and you are done.I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

I tag for this wonderful lady at the Butterfly Lounge Come and join this great group for tags and fun!

I wrote this tutorial Aug/08,any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. I used PSP9 but it can be done in other versions as well. This tutorial requires a good working knowledge of PSP.
I am using the great artwork of Keith Garvey, do not use the same tube unless you have a licence to do so. You can get his artwork HERE
Tube of choice
Mask of choice- I used Mask 09 by Yarrow.
Font of choice-I used Scriptina
Let's Get Started
Open a new image 500 X 500 and flood fill white.
Choose a paper from the kit to compliament your tube. Copy and paste this paper as a new layer.
Apply your mask,on your layer pallete delete mask layer and merge group.
Open the frame from the kit, copy and paste as a new layer.Resize by 85%.
Take your magic wand and click inside the frame, go to selections, modify and expand and expand by 4 pixels.
Take the tube of your choice shift and D to duplicate, and in my case I enlarged the tube by 125% and went to image mirror, to turn her the other way. Then copy and paste as a new layer. Position to your liking. Go to selections invert and make sure you are on the tube layer on the pallete and hit delete. Pull this layer down below the frame layer. On the layer pallete choose overlay.
On the frame layer, add a drop shadow of choice. I used 1,1,50,8 and black.
Take your tube of choice and position to your liking. I placed my tube along the frame on the right side keeping her the same size as the original tube. Apply a drop shadow, I used the previous one.
Decorate with embellishments from the kit. If you use the eyelet ribbon, I placed mine along the frame and then "cut away" the frame by clicking inside the eyelet with my magic wand (hold down the shift key to do both eyelets) Go to selections, modify, expand and expand by two. On your layer pallete highlight the frame layer and hit delete on the keyboard to cut away the frame. Add the above drop shadow to all your embellishments.
Add your copyright and text. I used Scriptina to do my name in.
All done, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

My CU4CU TOU

All my Cu4Cu products are exactly that. No need to spend money on an extra license. My terms are very liberal and here they are:

--do not use the tubes/selections/patterns/
gradients etc in other projects
--do not turn it into a greyscale template and then redistribute
--No sharing of files, just because you downloaded it doesn't give you the right to share it.

FOR THE TEMPLATES
--Do not repackage as greyscale and resell and do not claim as your own
--Do not turn into a script and then sell it

What you may do:
--You may colorize and use in Cu element pkgs, kits,S4H/S4O.

That's it.
